At the moment, vibration in Android games works quite primitively, that is, it is either present or not. Even when connecting modern game controllers to mobile devices, users get weak vibration feedback on their actions in the game, which reduces the overall experience.

According to XDA Developers, Google has added lines to the Android Open Source Project that indicate improvements to the gamepad’s vibration function. In particular, support for vibration amplitude control is mentioned, which paves the way for creating custom vibration effects.

This feature comes in very handy for many console games that can be evaluated on mobile devices via cloud services such as Google Stadia, Nvidia GeForce Now, and so on.
