As of August 4, the most recent data from the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) are unavailable and there is no prospect of a return, according to the agency. The information up to July and the historical series can be accessed without problems.
The ANP website was the victim of an attempted cyber attack, and as a security measure all systems were taken offline to assess cybersecurity risks, the ANP reported.
As a result, it is not possible to access, for example, data on fuel prices at gas stations after the second reduction in the price of diesel by Petrobras in a week, on the last 5th, as well as information on collection with Special Participations , between others.
“ANP reinforces that its teams are working on assessing the incident and acting diligently to restore systems as quickly as possible. The work is being done carefully, so that the resumption takes place safely”, informed the ANP.
