The elite troop police officer of Rio de Janeiro, José Antônio Lourenço he died after being shot on the morning of Monday (19), during a due diligence at one of the target addresses of the operation triggered by the Consumer Police Station (Decon), in City of God, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
Antonio Lourenço was rescued by colleagues in uniform and taken to the Lourenço Jorge Municipal Hospital, in Barra da Tijuca, but could not resist the injuries and passed away.
He was the third member of the Special Resources Coordination (Core) to be shot in the last two months in the carioca capital.
