Anthony Blinken: The passage of humanitarian aid to Gaza will be achieved

The US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken he visited Arab countries this week that are “determined that the conflict will not expand”, as he assured as he left Cairo for Israel. “No one should add fuel to the fire elsewhere”said the US Secretary of State at a time when border clashes between Israel and Lebanon are raising concerns about the widening of the war.

Anthony Blinken also announced that he has appointed the veteran of US diplomacy in the Middle East David Satterfield sent to aid Gaza. “He will be on the ground in Israel as early as tomorrow to coordinate the transfer of aid“, he said.

THE humanitarian aid which has been sent from many countries has been piling up for many days in the Sinai, without being able to pass to the Palestinian enclave.

The US yesterday announced an agreement for the exit of American citizens from Gaza, but Egypt keeps the Rafah crossing to Gaza closed answering that it cannot be used exclusively for the exit of foreign citizens.
