Well-known Bitcoin enthusiast and founder of Pomp Investments, Anthony Pompliano, said that due to its quality monetary principles, Bitcoin's capitalization will surpass that of gold.

During an interview on Fox Business, Anthony Pompliano once again confirmed his bullish stance on the first cryptocurrency. He emphasized that since the last halving, Bitcoin's growth has been higher than that of any other asset.

“Four years have passed since the last halving. Then it was worth $8,000. Now BTC is trading at $64,000. Show me any other asset that would perform better over a four-year cycle,” Pompliano noted.

As for the noticeable decline in the cryptocurrency market, which began on April 12, Pompliano emphasized that the decline was also recorded in other markets, including gold and financial markets. This is mainly due to the escalation of tension in the Middle East. He recalled that during political instability, investors sell any liquid assets.

“People see Bitcoin is down on Saturday and they're screaming, 'Oh my God, Bitcoin is down!' But gold and other financial markets also declined. But Bitcoin will become the leader in growth and, I believe, will continue to perform well, as it has been over the past four years,” said the investor.

Pompliano noted that the next halving will have a significant impact on market dynamics. He emphasized that Bitcoin is a long-term investment:

“I always say that if you buy Bitcoin and try to predict the price of BTC in an hour, a day, a week or even a month, then it is a stupid thing to do. It's better to think of Bitcoin as a store of value.”

Anthony Pompliano previously said that Bitcoin has become one of the most popular assets on Wall Street.
