Batista says that the pandemic has made more than 8 million women unemployed. Many had to leave their jobs to take care of their children, as daycare centers and schools were closed, and the impact of layoffs was also greater among women.
THE CNN Specialist explains how companies can help these women: “It is important to give flexibility and autonomy to mother workers and subsidize child care. Welcoming new mothers returning from maternity leave and extending paternity leave as well.”
“You need to organize your routines, tasks and your time, to handle professional activities and household chores”, says Batista.
