While managers think about the cost of maintaining physical spaces and whether it is worth betting on a hybrid model or a home office, workers are faced with the possibility of staying working from home or returning to an office.
A recent survey by Fundação Dom Cabral shows that 72% of workers prefer the hybrid model, which alternates between remote and face-to-face work. “It is a very expressive number that shows the trend of the future. The corporate world is probably heading in this direction, towards greater flexibility and adaptation”, says Batista.
However, there is no single solution, each company must figure out what adjustments to make to make the environment productive and pleasant for its employees. The specialist also explains: “The company will have to understand the needs of its business model, its workers and each function to know the best model to be adopted.”
