The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) extended, on Friday (25), the waiver period for submitting the Traveler’s Health Declaration to March 2.
According to the ordinance published on January 20, the mandatory document for international boarding of travelers bound for Brazil must be presented to the airline responsible for the flight before boarding.
However, on February 24, an oscillation in the availability of access to the electronic form system was detected, according to Anvisa.
To avoid inconvenience, Anvisa had waived the presentation of the document until this Saturday (26). Due to the instability and in view of the need for technical adjustments, the agency extended the period of exemption from presenting the document until 11:59 pm on March 2, BrasÃlia time.
