The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) prohibited the sale of the Tadalafila Bullet called “Metbala”, manufactured by FB Manipulation Ltda.
According to the agency, the measure was adopted because the product has no regularization in Anvisa. In addition, the identified company is not authorized by Anvisa to manufacture medications.
The resolution with the measure was published in the Official Gazette (DOU) this Wednesday (14). The prohibition also applies to any person, company or communication vehicle that market or promote the product.
According to legislation, medications can only be marketed by pharmacies and drugstores and need to be registered with Anvisa. Registration is proof that the product has effectiveness, safety and quality.
Tadalafil is a medicine subject to prescription and use depends on an assessment of the patient’s specific conditions. The agency warns that those who advertise irregular products also commit health infraction and is subject to penalties.
