The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) this week revoked health inspection measures covering the company Fugini Alimentos. The company had its products suspended in March this year after a health inspection with unsatisfactory results.
In April, after adjustments and reforms in its internal procedures, the company resumed the production, commercialization, distribution and use of all foods in stock, but Anvisa maintained the suspension of the manufacture of products with allergenic ingredients and the distribution, commercialization and the use of finished items in stock manufactured until March 27 of this year, in addition to tomato pulp used as raw material, manufactured or acquired until that date.
With the measure published now, the manufacture of all products is released, including those with allergenic ingredients.
The marketing, distribution and use of finished products in stock at the factory, produced up to March 27, and tomato pulp used as raw material, manufactured or purchased up to the same date, were also authorized.
The release was possible, according to Anvisa, “after analysis of the company’s quality control records and the absence of unsatisfactory results that represented a risk to the health of the consumer”.
Also according to the agency, the products that had their collection determined were not affected by this revocation and Anvisa continues to monitor the collection process being carried out by the company.
