Architecture enthusiasts, mark this appointment soon. From 19th to 22nd June takes place AOH (Open House Architecture)a program of tour of Naples which have as their theme the extraordinary architecture of the city.
During the 4 days of AOH there will be free traveling events in the areas Chiaia, Vomero and Centre, proposed by architects who participate with their realities. Every day, at different times, the architects will present a construction site, their home or their studio. On the other hand, as “spectators” there will be other professionals, but not only: the tours of Naples of AOH are open to all: designers, but also enthusiasts of details, beauty, architecture and landscape which will have the opportunity to discover new and interesting places.
Tour of Naples, the AOH program
An absolute novelty for AOH 2024 is “Naples View from the Sea”, the first appointment of the tour, scheduled for Wednesday 19 June at 11am which will offer an overview of the city through the architect’s story Francesca Brancaccio of studio b5, where the most significant places in Naples overlooking the sea will be identified and contextualized.
The architect and artist also participates in this edition Stefano Mangowho designed this year’s artist bracelet, who will participate with his studio on Wednesday 19 June from 5pm to 8pm in Largo Ferrandina 1. A magical place, a sort of think tank, where the architect puts together projects and dreams , which as in this case he shares with guests.
The theme of sustainability is particularly felt, as well as the choice of cutting-edge technological supports, with the participation of studios that work favoring them, including the architect again on the 19th from 3.30pm to 6.30pm Michele Piccoloat Mielepiù, a reference showroom for architects and engineers, in via dei Mille 40. Here the architect Piccolo will talk about the Matterport 3D technology which simplifies the management of projects at every stage, using one of his private home construction sites as an example.
Another interesting event is the one on June 20th, at 12pm at Od’A, Officina di Architettura, in which the architects Giovanni Aurino and Francesca Fasanaro will open the finished construction site of Residenza Scale Napoletane, in via Girolamo Santacroce 15. The professor Aldo Capassoarchitect and
artist on the 20th at 6pm presents both his studio, La Stanza dell’arte, in via Annibale Caccavello 59/b, and his home also known as Pinocchioteca due to the works dedicated to Pinocchio that cover the living room. And again the Ars Constructa studies of Alfredo Ciollaro and ManuelaArchitect’s Mt-a Mario Toraldothe architects Alessandro Ciollaro, Maria Luisa Kitsman. The program published on social pages it is a deliberately transversal path.
Architecture Open House 2024 is the VII edition and is organized by the Brillart Association, with the patronage of the Campania Region, the Municipality of Naples, the Order of Architects, Landscape Planners and Conservators of Naples and the Province (which recognizes CFPs for members who participate in the meetings, one for each appointment) and of Oice-Confindustria, in collaboration with Studio Trisorio and MielePiù.
