Teima Sohaib would have criminal record for family abuse: he is already on trial for acts of violence against the young victim, domiciled in the Rhône Department, in Saint Piest, with whom he probably had a romantic relationship, and in the next few weeks he will have to appear before the Correctional Court of Grenoble. The 21 year old he had been wanted since the end of March, both in France and Italy, for “violation of judicial control”.

According to reconstructions, last week the two they were looking for an abandoned house, a “ghost house” in Derby, not far from the abandoned village where the body was found. A witness reported seeing them on April 2. «They were walking, they were on foot. She: very beautiful, but suffering, emaciated. Him with black curls and an olive complexion. They were dressed like two goths, all in dark. Like those kids who venerate death. I thought: two vampires.” She had always spoken only to the boy: «he expressed himself in good Italian, even if he didn't seem Italian. He was much younger than her, I won't say underage but almost. He didn't seem like a violent guy, far from it. He didn't even seem like someone with a drug problem.”

At the moment the 21-year-old, in custody in France, is the only suspect. The Grenoble Prosecutor's Office has also opened a murder investigation. According to the autopsy, the girl was stabbed to death and bled to death. Some of her relatives, who arrived in Aosta, recognized her. Her death could date back to the period between the end of March and the first days of April, but it is difficult to indicate the exact date, since the relatively low temperatures of those days preserved the body well.
