Motorbike courier Jorge Luis da Silva Ferreira Júnior, 25 years old, was shot dead while making deliveries for a drinks app. The case occurred near Morro do Fubá, in the north of Rio de Janeiro, last Wednesday (1st).
Agents from the 9th Battalion (Rocha Miranda) were called by residents of the region to respond to a homicide in the locality. When they arrived in Quintino, they found that the app delivery person was already dead and isolated the area.
According to reports from residents of the region, drug traffickers from Morro da Serrinha, in Madureira, were behind the death of the boy, who was appointed as an informer of the criminals. The police did not confirm this information.
In a statement, the Civil Police reported that the case is being investigated by the Capital Homicide Police Station, which has already carried out an investigation at the scene and is trying to find the perpetrator and motivation for the crime.
