An app driver, whose identity was not disclosed, was arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a 27-year-old woman in Fortaleza (CE), in the early hours of last Sunday (19).
As determined by CNN military police officers were carrying out preventive patrols in the Edson Queiroz neighborhood, when they identified a violent situation in a black vehicle parked in a bush.
As they approached, officers heard a woman screaming and trying to free herself from a man.
According to the victim, she asked for an app car to return to her residence and, when the driver arrived, he took her to a forested area and immobilized her with a blow known as a “rear naked choke”, leaving her unconscious. .
The woman reported to the police that the suspect threatened to kill her and that he did not carry out the threat due to the arrival of the police team.
The driver tried to resist arrest by fleeing through the bush, however, he was unsuccessful and was captured by agents.
He was taken to the Women’s Defense Police Station (DDM), where he was charged with rape.
