Despite the fact that Google Play has shown growth, the App Store still surpasses it in terms of revenue. Apple’s App Store revenue rose to $ 21.5 billion from $ 19 billion, an increase of 13.2%. In the third quarter of 2021, the number of apps installed on the Apple App Store (for the first time) fell 1.2%, from 8.2 billion to 8.1 billion. Google Play Store first installs fell 2.1% from 28.2 billion to 27.6 billion.
