One of these innovations is the ability to inherit an Apple ID account. In the iCloud settings, you can specify a trusted person who will be able to access your account in the event of your death. Also, a trusted person can provide a verification code to restore access if the user suddenly forgot his Apple ID password.

We’ve also improved security and privacy in Mail, Safari, Apps, and Siri. Mail Privacy Shield prevents email tracking, and the App Privacy Report shows which apps share information with third parties. In addition, requests to Siri will now be processed right on the device by default.
