The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has published a ranking of the most innovative firms of 2021. It was headed by Apple, and the Top 5 also included Alphabet (the parent company of Google), Amazon, Microsoft and Tesla.
BCG notes that the number of companies that named innovation as their key priority this year increased by 10 percentage points – up to 75 percent. And this is a record. True, priority is good, but commitment is just as important. In reality, just under 50 percent of the companies covered in the report actually invested in their priorities. At BCG, they are called real innovators.

Among such real innovators, for example, were the key developers of vaccines from COVID-19: Pfizer at 10, Johnson & Johnson at 20, Moderna at 42, and AstraZeneca at 49. There are also many other well-known brands in the Top 50. Including Huawei, Facebook, Toyota, Nike, Xiaomi, Ikea, Adidas.
