Apple often sues companies whose names, logos or brands, according to the Cupertino giant, are similar to its own.

For example, back in 2014, Apple filed a lawsuit against Pear Technologies, whose logo was a pear. After a similar story unfolded in 2020, when Prepear, which also uses a pear as a logo, became the target of persecution.

However, in this case, everything worked out for Prepear. The companies entered into an agreement that allows Prepear to continue to use its logo with minimal changes.

As you can see, only the shape of the leaf of the fruit has changed. Apparently, now the logo no longer looks like the Apple logo. This situation is a good example of the fact that sometimes the problem may not be in the logo at all.
