Apple has released a major update to the iMovie mobile app that brings quite a few changes.

The iMovie 3.0 update is available for download from the App Store for iPhone and iPad users running iOS/iPadOS version 15.2 or later.
As the developers note, it has become more convenient to create videos in the new iMovie interface. The two main innovations are the Storyboard (storyboard) and Magic Movie (Magic Movie) functions.
Magic Movie makes it easy to create a “unique” video with titles, transitions and music in just a few taps. Storyboard allows you to create videos based on ready-made templates with detailed instructions. There are over 20 storyboard templates available for popular video projects such as Cooking, DIY, Q&A, Product Review, and Book Review.
Some of the new features require an iPhone 13, iPad mini (6th generation), 11-inch iPad Pro, or 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation or later).
