Apple is conducting a survey among Apple Watch owners to learn more about how users use wearable devices to track health data. A separate question is asked whether the user has any blood glucose monitoring apps installed.
The survey was sent out among Apple Watch users this Friday. The survey has a section on health functions. Apple first asks about features built into watchOS, such as the Workout app, step counting, distance traveled, stationary reminders. Apple wants to know how actively watch owners are using these features.

In addition, Apple is also asking about third-party health monitoring apps. The survey offers a choice of apps to track exercise, hydration and nutrition, as well as monitor medication and blood glucose levels.
Apple often sends polls to users before implementing a feature. The options indicated in the survey are not always implemented in a commercial product, but more recently there was a rumor that a glucometer may appear in the new Apple Watch smartwatch. Moreover, in the future, Apple Watch may be able to measure blood alcohol content.
