A class action lawsuit has been filed in London against Apple, which is accused of charging nearly 20 million UK customers in excess of fees for purchases from the App Store.
Apple’s standard 30 percent rate is “excessive and illegal.” Plaintiffs are demanding compensation from Apple for British iPhone and iPad users for years of excessively high fees. Apple responded that the claim was without legal basis.
