Apple is preparing a diagonal keyboard. It’s inconvenient, but it makes sense.

Apple has been releasing branded keyboards for Mac computers for a long time, and now information has begun to appear about a future third generation called Magic Keyboard III. It’s not just a familiar keyboard with some standard improvements in the keystroke mechanism or something like that – it looks like the next model will be completely unusual, with diagonally arranged keys. The rendering of such a model was shared by image processing specialist Dana Sibera.

Such an unusual layout of the keys is not only due to the design, this design makes it easier to use the keyboard with the natural position of the hands without overstrain – there have long been models on the market against carpal tunnel syndrome (when the median nerve of the wrists is pinched due to eversion of the hands while working at a computer).

Now this is almost the first information on the network about the Magic Keyboard III, so it is not clear whether such a model will become standard, or will be positioned exclusively for people with problem wrists. In any case, it is quite possible that this is not the only modification – it is unlikely that Apple will miss the opportunity to release a version with an integrated fingerprint scanner, as it did earlier with the second generation.
