Apple spoke today at WWDC 2021 about important innovations for the mobile version of the Safari browser.

Like the desktop version in macOS 12 Monterey, the mobile version of Safari will receive an updated design, the ability to group tabs and sync these groups between iPhone, iPad and Mac.
But there is also an “exclusive” innovation – the mobile version of Safari will finally receive support for third-party extensions. It will also be possible to customize the home page.
An updated version of the Safari browser will be available on iPhone and iPad in the fall of 2021 with the release of iOS 15 and iPaOS 15.
