Apple has announced an update for Apple Music. According to the press service, now Apple Music will allow you to get acquainted with the latest trends in music in more than 100 cities.
Unlike the standard charts, which rank songs by the number of plays, the new city charts offer a list of the 25 most popular tracks based on streams and additional criteria.
City charts are updated daily. They can be found on the Charts page in Apple Music and through the Browse and Search tabs.
Alternatively, you can simply ask Siri to play the most popular tracks in the city of interest, such as Moscow or St. Petersburg. You can add a city chart to your library, download it for offline listening, and send it to friends.
In addition, new features are now available to Apple Music subscribers:
- Live artist pages with animated images.
- You can share your favorite lyrics to Messages, Facebook, and Instagram Stories.
- You can search by recording studios.
- Other albums released by the recording studio: Each album will have a link to the page of the respective music label, which can be found just below the list of tracks.
- Quick access to the “Special for you” section from the media library.
