The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Max will reportedly have a Lightning connector, while the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have USB-C. After this series, Apple will still transfer its smartphones to USB-C. It is expected that this connector will be used by all iPhone 16 models. It is also possible that the iPhone 16 Pro will not have any connectors at all – the company may switch exclusively to wireless charging.
In fact, the transition to USB-C in the case of the iPhone is only a matter of time, because most Apple devices already use this connector. USB-C has many advantages, and it’s not only about fast charging, but also compatibility with other mobile devices.
