Apple has released an operating system update for its mobile devices – iPhone, iPad and iPod.

iOS and iPadOS 14.4.2 fixes security vulnerabilities. They became available approximately three weeks after the release of iOS and iPadOS 14.4.1, and more than a month after the release of iOS and iPadOS 14.4.
IOS and iPadOS 14.4.2 updates are free to download. The software is available on all supported devices “over the air” in “Settings” in the “General” section and in the “Software update” subsection.
As noted by Apple in the release notes, the update contains important security updates and is recommended for all users.
In addition, Apple has appropriate security updates for iOS and iPadOS 12.5.2 for older devices that are no longer supported by iOS and iPadOS 14, such as iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPod touch 6th generation.
