Apple treats users badly in its largest market

Apple recently released its second quarter 2021 financials, during which the company generated $ 64 billion in revenue, of which $ 15.4 billion came from the Chinese market. Apple CEO Tim Cook said “This is our strongest market and we are proud of it.”

Cook said that in the Chinese market, many Chinese consumers have reacted very positively to the iPhone 12 series. US sanctions against Huawei have also played into Apple’s hands, which has lost the ability to produce a large number of smartphones. However, according to sources, Apple treats users badly in its largest market.

While Chinese users are generating huge revenue for Apple, the Chinese market is not getting “the best” from Apple. For example, on July 30, 2020, Apple officially notified Chinese service providers that the company will no longer replace its released AirPods for customers. Instead, the AirPods must be returned to a repair center for further inspection. There have also been negative changes to the AppleCare + service plan for Chinese customers who no longer receive a two-year additional warranty on hardware and software support services.

Recently, some users found that Siri automatically ignores China in some queries, for example, when asked about the list of Olympic gold medals, Siri only mentions Japan, the United States and Russia.
