Apple officially announced today that it will be offering free AirPods to customers who purchase the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini during an India-exclusive promotion.
AirPods will be presented to all residents and guests of India who buy any model of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini from October 7 to November 4, 2021. Apple did not specify what kind of headphones it is going to give users. It is not known if this is the first or second generation AirPods, however, an advertising poster has confirmed that these are standard AirPods and not AirPods Pro.
The second-generation AirPods were introduced in 2019 with the Apple H1 SoC and improved connectivity. Apple AirPods second generation have 5 hours of talk time and 24 hours with the charging case.
As it became known, the standard package of the iPhone 13 in France includes EarPods.
