On Thursday 18.08.2022 at 12:00, the online submission of applications by beneficiaries and providers for the program of the Public Employment Service (PYPA) for the issuance of Book Purchase Checks for the year 2022. The applications of interested beneficiaries and providers will be submitted until 25.08.2022 and time 23:59.
The purpose of the program is the intellectual development of the workforce and the support of businesses in the field of books. A total of 150,000 checks worth €20 each, including VAT, will be issued with a budget of €3,000,000.
With the cheque, which is in the form of a unique electronic code number, the beneficiaries and beneficiaries can buy with a 10% discount any book they choose from the bookstores and publishing houses of the Registry of Providers.
The applications of the interested beneficiaries will be submitted exclusively online through the Unified Digital Portal of the Hellenic State gov.gr, at the electronic address:

Beneficiaries are employed and unemployed, who in 2021 accumulated 50 days:
Work in e-EFKA insurance (section IKA – ETAM) or
Special provision of maternity protection or
Unemployment benefit or long-term unemployment or
A combination of the above
They are also beneficiaries registered unemployed in the Unemployment Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who have a continuous period of unemployment on the application deadline of at least four (4) months.
Beneficiaries of the program are the spouses of the beneficiaries, when they are indirectly insured members, as well as the children of the beneficiaries over the age of five, provided that they are indirectly insured members of their own or the other parent.
The selection system is based on the scoring of beneficiaries based on their income and the order of priority of submitting their application.
Providers of the program are bookstores and publishing houses of any legal form, which have a legal license to operate.

It is noted that providers who want to apply for multiple branches must have D.YP.A. codes. No supporting documents are required. In the few cases where supporting documents are required, they are attached to the online applications.
