The electronic submission of applications for the Program “Promotion of employment through Public Benefit Programs for 25,000 people in Municipalities, Regions, Social Welfare Centers of Regions (KKPP) / related bodies, Services of Ministries and other bodies” of the eight-month period, with the relevant invitation from OAED and its posting on the website of the Organization (www.oaed.gr). The program is addressed to the unemployed registered in the OAED Register who meet the specific conditions of participation mentioned in the relevant invitation. The deadline for applications starts today at 16:00 and ends on Friday 18 March.
The aim of the new program is to strengthen the employment of the unemployed with an emphasis mainly on vulnerable populations at high risk of exclusion (long-term unemployed, low-skilled unemployed) and required to work in the first phase in a “protected environment” in order to enter the market. avoid marginalization while maintaining their employability. At the same time, the program aims to upgrade the knowledge and skills of the unemployed, so that participants are strengthened in the process of integration into the labor market, but also to provide better and more efficient services to Municipalities and Regions for the benefit of society.
The new community service program concerns the employment of a total of 25,000 beneficiaries, registered in the OAED unemployment registers, in Municipalities, Regions, Decentralized Administrations, Social Policy Centers and other bodies, according to the following distribution:
Municipalities: 20,397 positions (81.6%) (for the distribution the increased needs of the municipalities that were affected by the catastrophic fires of last summer were taken into account)
Regions: 2,566 places (10.3%)
Decentralized Administrations: 348 positions (1.4%)
Φ Other Bodies: 1,689 positions (6.7%)
The action has a total budget of 188.6 million euros, is financed from NSRF resources with 132 million euros and from OAED resources with 56.6 million euros and has two parts: a) the employment of the unemployed registered in the OAED register for 8 months in Municipalities, Regions, KKPP etc. and b) the provision of theoretical training programs up to 150 hours in 11 targeted thematic units, which will lead to certification of the knowledge and skills that will be acquired, constituting a comprehensive active employment policy, which will help the employment of the unemployed.
The submission of applications by the interested parties is done through the Unified Digital Portal of the State gov.gr (https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/apozemioseis-kai-parokhes/programmata-koinophelous-kharaktera).
They can also submit an electronic application on the OAED website www.oaed.gr, using the relevant field for registering electronic applications.
With the new community service program, 11,801 unemployed for compulsory education (HR), 6,575 unemployed for secondary education (DE), 3,114 unemployed for technological education (TE) and 3,510 unemployed for public education will be hired in Municipalities, Regions, Decentralized Administrations and other bodies.
All the beneficiaries of the program will significantly enhance the operation of the host institutions through 170 different professional specialties. In particular, the new program offers the host institutions 20 specialties for the unemployed of compulsory education (eg cleaning work, green work, etc.), 53 specialties for the unemployed of secondary education (eg administrative / accounting, drivers, security guards, etc. .a.), 37 specialties for unemployed technological education (eg IT, nurses, nurses, etc.) and 60 specialties for unemployed university education (eg engineers, foresters, social workers, etc.).
