Apple claims that CPU performance is 50% higher than the previous generation, and GPU performance is 40% higher. Buyers are offered configurations with 8 and 16 GB of RAM.
However, it may not be all that good. Anyway, the developer of the Artsutdio Pro app found that apps only had 5GB of RAM available, regardless of the amount of RAM. Attempting to use more memory is said to result in an error.
According to the developer, the available capacity is only 0.5 GB more than the older iPads with 6 GB of RAM.
