Arctic introduced a pair of compact air coolers designed specifically for Intel’s LGA1700 processors: Alpine 17 and Alpine 17 CO.
The design of the coolers includes an aluminum radiator with radially arranged Y-shaped ribs. A 92mm fan is mounted on the radiator, the rotation speed of which is controlled by PWM. The CO variant features a faster double ball bearing fan, so it can dissipate more heat. The height of the Alpine 17 and Alpine 17 CO is 68.2mm, making the new cooling systems well suited for use in small and all-in-one PCs.
The manufacturer notes that the installation of Alpine 17 and Alpine 17 CO does not require mounting kits and tools: the coolers come with pre-applied MX-4 thermal paste and pre-installed push pins.
The MSRP for the Alpine 17 is €14 and the Alpine 17 CO is €15. Sales have already begun. Alpine coolers come with a six-year warranty.
