aRDP: Secure RDP Client

aRDP is a secure open source Remote Desktop Protocol client that supports SSH that uses the excellent FreeRDP library and parts of aFreeRDP. Its features include:

– Remote desktop control of computers running any version of Windows except Windows 10 Home.

– remote desktop control of Linux computers with xrdp installed.

– Master password in Pro version – Multi-factor

(two-factor) SSH authentication in Pro version

– Audio redirection in Pro version

– Precise control over the style of the remote desktop session

– Dynamic resolution change to reconfigure the desktop when connected, and control over virtual machines from BIOS to OS

– Full rotation support. Use center lock rotation on your device to disable rotation

– Full desktop visibility even with extended soft keyboard

– SSH tunneling for added security or to access machines behind a firewall.

– Install the xrdp package on Linux. Then connect to your computer’s IP / host, port 3389 with your Linux account login and password.
