THE CNN had access to attempted extortion messages sent to Botafogo striker Luiz Henrique. The messages were sent by Raissa Cândida da Rocha, cousin of the attacker’s ex-wife Ana Carolina Andrade. Raissa was arrested red-handed last Friday (29).
The prints show the woman collecting payment from the player who accepts to carry out the transaction at first.
“He was preparing here to publish . Are you going to pay for the deletion of content?”, asks Raíssa. The attacker then responds: “That. Send the Pix “.
Then Raissa sends the key for the transfer. After an hour of no response, she makes more threats . “It doesn’t take long to do it, player. Have you given up?”, and tries to call the athlete.
Luiz Henrique states that he was training and I would already make the payment. The woman waits 20 minutes and says she can’t wait any longer, because she was being “charged”.
The player stops responding to messages. Then, Raissa intensifies the threats and states that “would be publishing ” the alleged intimate content of the Botafogo attacker.
She stops accessing the athlete for four hours, but returns with personal provocations. “You like being in the media. You’re already feeling embarrassed with this girlfriend of yours who has spent more time playing football than you. It’s still there. I have nothing to lose, the only one who has is you “.
Finally, she makes the final threat and demands R$20,000 until 9am the following day, whether the player’s alleged material would not be leaked.
Luiz Henrique’s press office reported that the videos have not been seen or confirmed by the police so far. According to the advisory, “Luiz Henrique is focused on the next challenge for Brasileirão, happy with his professional and personal moment”.
The day after Raissa’s arrest, the attacker was Copa Libertadores da América champion with Botafogo still scoring the first goal of the match.
The woman was charged with qualified extortion and criminal association. The Civil Police keep investigations confidential to identify others involved in the crime.
