Milei’s administration decreed that fees on mobile imports will be reduced from 16% to 8%, and reset from January. Taxes on video game imports will go from 35% to 20%.
Internal taxes on mobile phones, televisions and imported air conditioners will be reduced from 19% to 9.5%. The rates on the products produced in the land of fire, in turn, today in 9.5%, will be reset.
The purpose of the measure is to cheapen the prices of electronics by at least 30%, which according to the government will help fight theft and smuggling.
