A new clip from Ariana Grande will be released next week. The singer used her social media this Monday (27), to share an excerpt from the music video for “the boy is mine”, a single from her most recent album, “Eternal Sunshine”.
In addition to announcing the debut date, the singer started a countdown on her Instagram account. Check out:
Her seventh studio album was released on March 8 this year, in celebration of International Women's Day. On the same day, the video for “we can't be friends” was released.
In the video, the singer performs with Evan Peters (actor by Jeffrey Dahmer), with scenes that show references to the film “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, released in 2004.
Nine days after its debut, Billboard reported that the album had debuted at the top of the album chart. With the achievement, this was the sixth of the singer's seven albums to top the list.
The album was preceded by its first single, “yes, and?”, which, in addition to also having a music video, reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and was covered with Mariah Carey.
Even with the new hits, Ariana Grande recently confirmed that she is already working on a new single. “I know everyone is impatient and excited for the next single (me too – literally typing this to you while working on… something…),” she mentioned in one of her most recent posts.
