The actress and singer Ariana Grande 31, posted a photo on her social media this Tuesday (3) with Cynthia Erivo, 37, showing the behind the scenes of the filming of the movie “Wicked” .
The adaptation of the famous Broadway musical of the same name hits theaters on November 21st . “80 days,” wrote the artist, counting down to the film’s premiere.
The plot of “Wicked” follows the story of Elphaba (Erivo), a young woman who has not yet discovered her true power and is misunderstood for having green skin, and Glinda (Grande), a popular and ambitious woman who does not yet know her true soul.
The two meet at Shiz University in the Land of Oz and become great friends. However, after an encounter with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their lives take very different paths, leading them to fulfill their destinies as the Good Witch of the South and the Wicked Witch of the West (classic characters from “The Wizard of Oz”, a 1939 film).
