The passionate about architecture they never lose it: Arkeda Open House has become a fixed appointment, because in Naples it has been a unique opportunity, for years now, of enter the designers’ studios, the most beautiful houses they have designed but also the construction sites discovering the city from an unexpected point of view, together with them. This year the event is from Wednesday 22 to Saturday 25 September, as always, a preview of the Salone Arkeda (architecture, construction, design and furniture fair to be held in December)
Conceived and organized by Annalisa Tirrito and Daniela Ricci, Arkeda Open House is an invitation to discover wonderful places never seen before and normally inaccessible to the public but also an invitation to reflect on the concept of living as a transversal interest, which generates passions and conviviality. The appointments of the four days will focus on this, which will go on from morning to evening, in Naples and its surroundings.
The areas where the houses and studios open for Arkeda Open House are concentrated are Chiaia, Centro and Vomero, but there will also be out of doors, for example a Mount of Procida: every time a real cultural (and tourist, for non-Neapolitans) walk in which with architects, without intermediaries, you can admire the realization up close (or the work in progress) of their works, or of the places where they are born.
During each meeting, in fact, I am themselves to tell their projects, the concept, the materials with which they worked, and each time it is a different discovery thanks to a transversal and varied path designed for experts and beginners which, in addition to leading to some of the most special corners of Naples, shows many different faces of architecture and creativity.
