The security camera of a business building in Itaim Bibi, in São Paulo, captured the moment a man entered the premises and carried out an armed robbery against two victims inside the building. The crime occurred on Friday morning (20) at around 11:30 am [horário de Brasília]. The robber took a cell phone and a luxury Rolex watch, and remains at large, according to the Military Police.
The action, which lasted less than a minute, took place on the ground floor of the building, between the entrance to the site and the lobby. From the surveillance camera images, it is possible to see that three men enter the building, followed by a fourth boy, who carries out the robbery.
The criminal takes a gun from one of the backpack’s pockets and points it toward the victims. It is possible to see that two surrendered men hand over belongings to the suspect, who then flees the scene. The building where the crime occurred has offices from different companies, including the Administration and Civil Construction segments.
In a statement, the Military Police reported that, this Friday, there was a call at 11:39 am to investigate the occurrence of a robbery “which occurred at the entrance of a business building where a Rolex brand watch and a cell phone were stolen”.
Also according to the note, PM teams carried out a patrol to locate the suspect, based on the characteristics reported by the victim, “but he was not found”.
According to the police, from January to September this year, in the Itaim Bibi region alone, 24 vehicles were recovered, 159 arrests were made in the act, and 28 firearms were seized in total.
