Armie Hammer Returns to Talk on Screen: Guest on the Show Piers Morgan Uncensored he was interviewed at length by the presenter who did not spare him burning questions.
The American actor, who in 2021 was accused of raping a former lover, Effie Angelova, and of abusing her “mentally, emotionally and sexually” (then acquitted of all charges last year due to lack of evidence) while other women pointed the finger at him, revealing how Hammer had cannibalistic and BDSM fantasies, guest of the American show, defended himself from the various accusations of abuse and cannibalism for which he has long been attacked, revealing however that having used a knife during a couple’s game with ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze.
“I didn’t pull a knife on her,” he told Piers Morgan when he asked him about it in search of the truth. “There was a situation that we discussed beforehand, where I would take a small piece of skin and just draw the letter ‘A’, with the tip of a small knife. There was no blood either… it was like a scratch… there are lots of couples who tattoo their initials on each other.” Lorenze had previously revealed that the 37-year-old had used a knife to carve his initials on her: “I just sat there and let it happen,” she said. “I don’t know what to say. It’s sad, I wanted to please him and I was willing to do whatever he wanted.” Hammer said, “Yes, it may seem strange. For some people, it’s a very romantic gesture.”
The American actor also spoke about his relationship with Effie Angelova (who accused him of sexual assault), which lasted two years while he was married to Elizabeth Chambers, defining it «very intense, full of sexuality between two people with very similar inclinations and perversions,” admitting that out of context, some of their conversations might have seemed disturbing: “Many people have different sexual fantasies. And there is a very broad spectrum of sexualityand people are allowed to engage with their sexuality in the way that suits them and what they do.”
When asked by the TV presenter who bluntly asked him if he was actually a cannibal, Hammer replied: «Do you know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You must have actually eaten someone.” He later denied having ever done so.
Hammer has maintained his innocence since being accused of rape and other abuse of women. Today he is trying to clean up his image after Hollywood closed all doors to him since 2021, the year of the accusations.

Variety reported that Hammer’s agency, WME, has dropped him and all the productions he was involved in fired him by early 2021. One film he appeared in, Murder on the Nilewas released in February 2022 because reshooting its portion of the film would have been too expensive. The film was a flop, perhaps because of the allegations against Hammer.
In the podcast Painful Lessons last June the protagonist of Call me by your name he declared that be in a 12-step rehabilitation program (the actor also used alcohol and drugs) as the strong accusations over the years have greatly impacted his mental health, including possibility of taking one’s life: “I was bombarded with hate. There was one time I was standing on the shore and I swam really far away and then I just lay there… Almost like I was trying to end it. But then I didn’t because I thought I couldn’t leave my kids. My Hollywood career? It’s going nowhere now.”
