The prosecutor Demétrius Oliveira de Macedo – who was arrested after assaulting the Attorney General of the Municipality of Registro, Gabriela Samadello Monteiro de Barros, last June – had, last Wednesday (16), the third indisciplinary episode in the Tremembé prison only in November.
He broke a sink and a food dish in the specific preventive isolation cell he occupies – a ‘punishment’ requested by himself, an occurrence that is not common among detainees. The day before, he also broke the glass of the cell door with the bed frame.
Demétrius also responds to disciplinary investigation procedures, due to disobedience to the servant’s order, lack of courtesy with cellmates, and for failing to comply with the duties related to maintaining personal and cell hygiene.
In July, he had a request for freedom denied by the Justice of São Paulo.
Demetrius is accused of attempted feminicide, injury and coercion in the course of the process. He beat Gabriela after opening a disciplinary process against the municipal attorney, motivated by aggressiveness at work. The episode was recorded on video.
