L’art embrace the solidarity. Yes, because during the lockdown some guys, to exorcise the moment they were living and give vent to their emotions, they leveraged their imagination and their talent and what came out is a shortlist of creations now put up for sale for purposes benefits. The appointment, with this this special, is from 5 to 7 May, at Federica Ghizzoni Gallery from Milan.
In particular, the proceeds from the works – put up for sale at a price of 80,00 euro (but of course, those wishing to donate more can do so) will be donated to the non-profit organization Magica Cleme, the foundation that seeks to give happy hours to children with cancer and their families. In short, theart of a group of very young creatives will end up being useful to an equally young target struggling with a really critical situation.
But who are these 13 very young artists? Here are their names: Asia Artom (class 1999); Assia Castelbarco Albani (2007); Olimpia Castelbarco Albani (1999); Simona Carnazzi Brescia (2007); Cecilia degli Esposti (2009); Flaminia degli Esposti (2013); Guglielmo Fiorelli (2012); Margherita Garegnani (2005); Le Quyen Gilardoni Vietnam (2013); Angelica Lasagna London (2004); Alessandro Mazza (2003); Lavinia Mazza (2004); Martin Viganò (2011). All their works (which correspond to a series of illustrations and to a video in which to tell each other and exchange confidences during the lockdown are the Barbies) are accompanied by a thought of their author or his presentation. And, taken together, they help remind us how impactful the lockdown has been for teenagers. And how much theart, in its various expressions, can be a way to give vent to one’s emotions, as well as to one’s fears or uncertainties.
Small, but important final clarification: the event scheduled at the Federica Ghizzoni Gallery of Milan is made in compliance with the anti-Covid standard, therefore entry is contingent. It is therefore advisable book an appointment to ensure a visit at the desired time. Meanwhile, for those curious, here is a small advance in the gallery above with respect to the works at auction and the protagonists of this event dedicated to solidarity art.
