Ary Fontoura 91, said he regretted not completing the law School during his youth. At the time, the artist preferred to abandon the course to dedicate himself to theater.
In an interview with Conversa com Bial, which aired last Friday (24), the actor stated: “I have been in the profession for 76 years, and in these 76 years I have been looking for a job.”
According to Ary, he often advises people to seek financial stability before following an artistic dream.
“I say this: 'Get a good job, one that guarantees your pride, and continue enjoying the theater. I more or less followed, maybe that's why I make a point of telling people, so that they don't make the same mistake,” said the actor.
Ary Fontoura still recalled the decisions of his youth. “I practically dropped out of college in my final fifth year to work in a circus.”
“If I had prepared myself and were a lawyer, it would be a liberal profession, I would open the door to my office whenever I wanted and, when there was an episode of a soap opera, I would close it and come back, and my life would be guaranteed, right? true?”, he still pondered.
