Netflix’s new romantic comedy “Your House or Mine” arrived at the streaming service on Friday (10).
Starring Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon, the plot follows two best friends who have absolutely nothing in common.
Debbie loves the routine she has with her son in Los Angeles, and Oeter can’t live without the hustle and bustle of New York.

The idea for the plot came from the director of the feature, Aline Brosh McKenna who also wrote the script, when he experienced a similar situation years ago.
“I needed a place to stay and a friend who at the time was single and living in Los Angeles lent me his apartment in New York. I started to think that it would be funny if I started living his life in his apartment”, he explained in a material sent to the press.
In that context, she wanted to tell a love story about two people who needed to grow up to be together.
“The film is about modern romance and how people form relationships in this world where we have endless ways to connect and yet feel totally disconnected,” he commented. reese .
