Also, Mr. Asimakopoulou underlines that “this activity of the Turkish state in Tenedos, constitutes a violation of the provisions of the Treaty of Lausanne, as monuments of world cultural heritage are destroyed, church property is trampled and not returned, while the Greek element is pressured covered is threatened with extinction “.

Following these, he asks the European Commission what actions it intends to take to “protect the cultural heritage sites of Tenedos”, but also to “return from the Turkish state to the Church of the island, the property titles that rightfully belong to it”.
