Russian Post came to the aid of domestic fashionistas who this year lost access to most foreign brands and online stores. The operator of the state postal network, together with a partner in Berlin, has launched the delivery of goods from European online stores through its Global Post platform.

On the Gbobal Mail platform, you can order goods from such sites as Asos, Net-a-Porter, Farfetch, Yoox, Mytheresa, as well as make purchases in the official European online stores of the brands Zara, H&M, Nike, COS, Adidas, Hugo Boss and others. You can pay for the order with a card of any Russian bank. The service commission is 10% of the total order amount, but not less than $7. The approximate cost of delivering a parcel weighing 1 kg to one of the 38,000 Russian Post offices throughout the country is about $16.4. At the same time, the cost of delivery includes free storage at the operator’s warehouse for up to 90 days. For a fee, the service staff will inspect the purchase for damage, check the articles, color, check the performance of the equipment and even, if necessary, return the goods from the warehouse to the online store.

It is reported that orders placed through Global Mail will first go to the warehouses of the service partner in the capital of Germany and from there will be sent to the address of the buyer in Russia. The average delivery time from Germany to Russia is about 3-4 weeks.
