Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said today that Israel’s killing of Brigadier General Abbas Niforoushan, one of the deputy commanders of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in Beirut, is a “horrible crime” that will not go unanswered. Niforousan was killed in Israeli airstrikes in Beirut yesterday, Friday, which also killed the leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah group, Hassan Nasrallah. “There is no doubt that this horrible crime committed by the Zionist regime (Israel) will not go unanswered,” Araghchi said in a statement addressed to the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Lt.
