Aston Martin reveals the face of the V12 Vantage Final Edition: the brand’s latest 12-cylinder car

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Aston Martin plans to officially end its era of 12-cylinder engines – in honor of this event, the manufacturer announced a unique edition of the car called the V12 Vantage Final Edition. The problem with this announcement is that Aston Martin announced the vehicle with a video that never showed the car itself. Instead, fans were allowed to listen to the sound of the engine, and only today, December 13, the company showed the faceplate of a special edition of a unique car.

The first official photo of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Final Edition was posted on the company’s social media – the brand’s newest car was shown on the front side against the background of previous models in the lineup. In this image, you can see the branded radiator grille of a rather impressive size and a splitter protruding forward, which is only part of an impressive aerodynamic package of body kits. Unfortunately, there are no official pictures of the side and rear of this car yet – there are spy photos on the network, but the fans of the brand will decide on their own to believe them or not.

There is also not so much information about the engine compartment of a new sports car, but in this regard, everything is much simpler. Most likely, the V12 Vantage Final Edition will take as a basis the engine from the collector’s car V12 Speedster – the 5.2-liter monster in this case produces 700 horsepower at 753 Nm of torque. According to insiders, for the final version with V12, the engine is slightly derated to 650 horsepower, so as not to create competition between cars, and the full premiere should take place in March 2022. However, the circulation will be limited to 299 copies, and the cost, of course, will be exorbitant.
