Aston Martin Vantage, for those who love a fast & furious life

Engineered for real drivers, designed for real drivers. Who doesn't recognize themselves in the claim of the new Aston Martin Vantage, the four-wheeled seduction for those who love a fast & furious life? Who doesn't imagine themselves behind the wheel of the fastest Vantage in its 74-year history, ready to chase the best performances ever by unleashing its dual personality? The racing car that unleashes its hand-built V8 Twin Turbo 4.0 engine on the Monteblanco circuit, half an hour from Seville, boosted up to 665 HP and a colossal torque of 800 Nm, in a challenge like between a bull and a matador in the bullring. And that of a road car that tackles the curves of the Andalusian roads with the hot rhythm of flamenco steps.

Design, ultra luxury and high performance for a 2-seater supercar that opens a new era of the Aston Martin brand. Just look at it from the outside to discover that it goes beyond the variations on the theme of the new editions. And which also manifests a transformative personality in its design, wild but seductive, with an aggressive but sinuous profile, Matrix LED light clusters set like gems, frameless rear-view mirrors, wider rear bumper with side air intakes and quadruple exhaust terminals, and a very large grille designed like the historic winged Aston Martin logo reversed.

Here are 11 Technicolor Vantages lined up ready for the first test drive on the track, with video driving advice from Fernando Alonso, who drives the Aston Martins on the F1 circuits. Drive on the right as befits a Queen car, balaclava and helmet and then ready to leave the pits of the curvy Spanish circuit on a Podium Green Vantage with acid yellow details, for about thirty laps of pure adrenaline. Even without the special effects of James Bond, this Aston accelerates in 3.5 seconds from 0 to 100 km per hour to reach 325 km/h after the first straight while maintaining extraordinary handling, enhanced by the new ALC (Adjustable Launch Control) which interacts with the electronics of the front engine and rear-wheel drive, gearbox and stability controls allowing you to select the degree of wheel slip.

From the track to the road it's just a change of color and behind the wheel of a Vantage Cosmos Orange it's a thrill to travel the roads of Andalusia up to the Atlantic Ocean arriving in Huelva, with the houses decorated with azulejos, a stone's throw from Portugal, to then go up and cross the Rio Tinto with extraterrestrial shades that recall the vibrant color of the Vantage livery. A journey through lunar landscapes, accompanied by the techno-elegance of the 2-seater interior, with a dashboard very similar to that of the bigger sisters DB12 Coupé and DB12 Steering wheel, with integrated 10.25-inch infotainment screen to the series of physical switches at the bottom of the center console, hand-stitched Bridge of Weir aromatic leathers, sporty but super ergonomic seats, a 390 Watt audio system and 11 speakers, but for audiophiles there is the optional system created tailor-made for the shape of the Vantage interior by Bowers&Wilkins, 1700w dual amplification with 15 speakers that transform this Aston Martin into an incredible concert hall.

And thanks to Active Vehicle Dynamics, i.e. the system capable of collecting data relating to the movement of the car and the driver's commands, Vantage is able to modify the parameters in real time to adapt to the driving style and the grip conditions of the route. And travel without ever stopping, as Miguel de Cervantes wrote with “No limits except the sky”.
