This morning there was news about the termination of Asus activities in Russia, and now the official comment of the press service of the Russian office of the company has been published. Indeed, shipments of Asus equipment to Russia have practically ceased, but the company does not confirm the withdrawal from Russia.

Here is the full text of Asus’ official announcement:
ASUS expresses its deep regret about the growing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. We are providing all possible support to the ASUS employees and families at its epicenter and will closely monitor further developments of the situation. For its part, ASUS will also donate NT$30 million to the Disaster Relief Foundation. We look forward to a speedy restoration of peace and the timely provision of humanitarian assistance to all those in need. ASUS always follows international regulations, and this situation has caused serious problems throughout the supply chain, logistics and banking services, and has led to the fact that deliveries to the Russian market have practically stopped at the moment.
In other words, the activity was suspended due to a combination of factors that arose as a result of the Russian situation in Ukraine and the economic measures that followed.
